Kobe Bryant Affirms Love for Lionel Messi

Los Angeles Lakers basketball superstar Kobe Bryant expressed his admiration for the Barcelona soccer superstar Lionel Messi on a charity game and said that it was a great honor for him to wear the Barcelona kit. Kobe Bryant stated that Barcelona had been his favorite soccer team for many years, and he had been watched their games a lot while he had no basketball games to play. 

Bryant described Messi as the best soccer player in the world by emphasizing the creativity and determination Messi had shown in the court. And he explained that the reasons he was so passionate about soccer and about Barcelona in particular were that he grew up in Milan where the atmosphere of soccer culture dominates everybody's life and that he had appreciated and followed some best soccer players such as Ronaldinho Gaucho.
